We recently celebrated our anniversary this past weekend at the Thompson Chicago and from the moment I stepped foot into the hotel I was taken care of. Both front desk agents Jasmine and Damazo went over and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing stay and celebration. We ended up selecting the King Corner Suite which was very spacious with a great view. The bathroom was probably one of my favorites with stairs that led to a huge soaking tub overlooking the city. Everything was very modern and up to date! We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend the Thompson Chicago!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was amazing. Jasmine at the front desk was very engaged and helpful. We really enjoyed the proximity to the city. Our next trip to Chicago we will stay at the Thompson. Keep up the great work!

It doesn’t get much better than this hotel at this location! We spent a wonderful weekend in the Windy City. Our corner room was so spacious and well styled. The bathroom with shower AND tub was roomy. We also ate at the restaurant and had drinks at the bar. The location is great and we spent most of the weekend in the Gold Coast area walking around. Would love to go back!

really nice hotel in a great location! friendly check-in. standard 1bdrm king was spacious. only issues were it seemed odd that there was no light on one of the bedside tables and it got noisy with the slamming of doors and outside conversations at late hours (the room was near the elevator bank though).

After several stays in the past few months, this stay is exceedingly the worst stay ever. The front desk staff are lazy and lack any can do attitude. One of the staff antagonized me while getting on the elevator. The general manager is clearly a one star trained manager and as a result she has trained her staff to behave the same. The bellman and housekeeping have been the only competent and courteous staff. Shout out to all of the unappreciative, antagonistic front desk staff. Recently a similar review was posted about a poor experience with the front desk.

The Chicago Thompson hotel is Phenomenal. The staff was outstanding from reservations, check in (V and Sam are AMAZING doormen), house keeping and bartending. The rooms are all updated, gorgeous and modern. The lobby is vibrant, fun and warm. We were surprised how booked the hotel was for Thanksgiving week. The service was incredible being a holiday week. The hotel is in a great location for the start of the Christmas parade and all the wonderful shopping and neighborhood restaurants. We had dinner at Nicos and the hosts, waitstaff and meal was exceptional. The Thompson hotel is a classy, elegant and beautiful neighborhood hotel. Thank you for the BEST thanksgiving holiday stay. We will return soon and often.

Globalists Beware! Hotel did not initially credit breakfast for my stay. After I called, they just credited a portion of it, and said it was correct now. I sent an email asking for a detailed breakdown of the bill, and the credits, and did not receive a response for 5 days. The response I finally receive was another copy of the bill, with just a portion of the charges credited, and with not detailed explanation as requested. I'm still working with the hotel staff to resolve this issue.

A great place, especially for the price. Service from the lobby and front people is as good as can be. Rooms I believe are getting renovated but even now are very comfortable. Beds are great for those who are as picky as myself. The restaurant is good, food can sometimes take a long time and be inconsistent but the outside area is great. I highly recommend this hotel.
